Zakłady Magnezytowe "ROPCZYCE" S.A. is the largest manufacturer of ceramic refractory materials in Poland and one of the largest ones in Europe. These materials are indispensable elements of linings of furnaces and thermal vessels operated at high temperatures. Their linings are worn during their operation and are subject to cyclic replacement or regeneration.
The main customers of Zakłady Magnezytowe "ROPCZYCE" S.A. are iron and steel works (60÷70% of our production) and non-ferrous plants (15÷20% of our production). The remaining part of our revenues comes from the sales to cement and lime plants, glass works, foundries, as well as to minor consumers. Almost 50% of our company’s production is exported, primarily to the markets in Europe and North America.
